Plus Qu'Hier, Moins Que Demain plot

The film is about a French family in the countryside. Two sisters, Francoise and Sonia, have both had an incestuous relationship. Sonia with her uncle Maurice, and Francoise with Maurice's son, Bernard. They only found out later that it is related to them. Sonia and her current boyfriend Patrick visit their parents in the small village, and during a swimming competition organized by the factory of which Maurice is the director, some things have to be put right.

A film I had on video that I hadn't seen since. And now I watched it again on YouTube. A film about all sorts of family drama. It took me a while to figure out how the relationships of the many characters worked. Who was who, and who was sleeping with whom. And because it took so long to figure that out, the essence of the film didn't really surface quickly either. It all flowed quite nicely, and the acting was fine. But it just took too long for me to get into it. And by then, the film was almost over. Anyway, at least I've seen it again. Even though I didn't remember anything about it.
