Ju-on: Kuroi Shôjo plot
While nurse Yuko has to look after the sick girl Fukie, she has all kinds of strange visions. Once Fukie undergoes surgery, the surgeons find a cyst in her body, which turns out to be the remnant of her deceased twin. The cyst turns out to contain a terrible curse and soon Fukie's father goes insane and commits a gruesome murder...

More of the same.
And therefore not surprising. It's the same song as in all other parts. The story is split and viewed from different people. They all come into contact with the curse and all die.
It is no longer scary or exciting. Unfortunately, this time there is little to see of the cursed girl in black. What you saw wasn't even scary. The belly scene was very good.
The atmosphere is still oppressive and that cat whining still gives me goosebumps. But The Grudge will never reach the same level as the first part, that is now clear. Luckily the film is only an hour long.

Director Mari Asato creates a strikingly terrifying horror figure, but then forgets to portray her. It is extremely remarkable how little of the effective potential is used and the viewer's patience is further tested because of the magnification of the drama aspect. The acting is not particularly strong, the build-up of tension is fairly ignored and the non-chronological narrative structure looks extremely messy this time. Furthermore, the final approach in particular makes a lousy and forced impression that barely matches the tone of the entire series. Black Ghost therefore feels like a film directed by someone who could not care about the source material and therefore gets too bogged down in their own train of thought. The event has quite atmospheric moments left and right and the poster character exudes effective horror, but is otherwise completely inferior in many respects to its counterpart from the same year.
