However mediocre this film may be, I still miss the boldness of these filmmakers nowadays; no one dares to make something like this anymore. The prudishness and cowardice of today are bewildering compared to what they dared to make back then.
And that made this period so much fun; people were experimenting with all sorts of things, and that resulted in many original films.
Now everything is put into boxes that they have to conform to, and people no longer dare to do anything daring or deviant.
