Kansen Rettô plot
Doctor Tsuyoshi Matsuoka encounters a patient infected by an unknown virus. Symptoms include high fever, convulsions, vomiting blood, and organs that stop working properly. Could this be a new form of the flu or is it related to a completely different virus? As the situation worsens and more cases of illness occur, a World Health Organization medical officer is sent to the area. At the rate of the virus spreading, the entire infrastructure there could come to a standstill within three months and could cause tens of millions of victims within six months.
