Thanks to the rent law of 1948, Francesca and Martin stay in a huge apartment for a low rent. I'm quite a fan of Laetitia Casta, but despite her generous presence this film is hard to get through. An auberge espagnole full of annoyingly exaggerated characters, lots of busy stuff and zero content, bleeh. First of all Amalric, who quickly gets on my nerves in a normal film, but now does so in the superlative.
