The talented young lawyer Corinna Jacobs finally gets her big chance to break through in her career. She will represent the renowned Hamburg owner of a fishing fleet, Petersen, in court, because a nature activist repeatedly portrays it in the press as a serious environmental polluter. But when the lawyer falls in love with one of the environmentalists, she finds herself in a serious conflict of conscience.
