The sequel to part 1. I think much less!

The film lacks a dolph Lundgren figure, who is the opposite of Damme.

Nothing against Michael Jai White but he will definitely make it

not with its predecessor in this film.

The film was also very short, which I personally don't like about the film.

The action that came in was also of lower quality than the first part.

Shame.

2.5*

Very witty.

They are not the best kind of movies indeed, I can admit that. But you can have some fun with this once in a while. Especially in the second half everything starts to get so hilarious that it just starts to look too easy.

The first part, however, is a bit more boring. With some pretty big action scenes with mega explosions that freshen things up a bit. But all that stuff in that lab didn't bother me much. It is only when Van Damme walks around in the normal world that the film slowly starts to get more fun.

Nice and old fashioned too. That regularly makes for some nice action scenes that mainly work thanks to the grandeur and the rudeness. But in the second half it also starts to get funny and that's when the film starts to look very nice.

However, I can't give it 3.5*, because it was clumsy at its best. The fights are super exaggerated and the humor really stupid, but that's why it's fun. The first part was also a bit too boring and the really fun action takes a bit too long unfortunately.

But I still had a good laugh. Goldberg's presence in particular regularly provides a good laugh. But also the exaggerated fights, over-the-top action scenes and especially the final confrontation between Van Damme and Jai White ensure that it was quite a funny experience in the end. I still have enough for that.

Also nice to know that Schanz was the "Pride" victim in Se7en .
