"THEY'RE STRONG FOR WINE, WOMEN, AND SONG."
Danny (Garfield) inherits two houses and Pilon (Tracy) and his lazy, poor friends move in. One of them, Pirate (Morgan), saves money. Pilon knows that Pirate is saving money for a gold candlestick for St. Francis and wants to steal that money. When one of the houses burns down and Danny is injured, Pilon makes an effort to improve his friend's way of life.
