Mediocre. I prefer to see Almodóvar deliver dramas, because his comedies are not my humor. The film also seems more like a bad sitcom than a movie. This is possible with a twenty-minute series, but that is no longer appropriate with a 90-minute film. Too absurd too, which only really gets fun when it gets a few more degrees worse. The end (the last 20 minutes or so) does happen and are by far the most entertaining. Until then, it's a chaotic story that never really gets fun and jokes that kill, although it does have its moments at times. In addition, it is all kitschy brightly colored as is often the case with Almodóvar, which I really cannot call beautiful. Ugly rather. 2.5*.

Crazy, not to say absurd comedy, which never really lapses into idiocy and continues to fascinate because of the nervous, frisky stuff of the actors, each excellent in their roles.

Film is also good because of imaging, color, make-up and let's just say charm. Nice music too.

Nice movie in which an actress has a bad day when her boyfriend breaks up over the phone. It takes a while for the story to get going, but after that the farcical situations are entertaining. It helps that the film is not too long. Colorfully portrayed and also some nice shots.
