A decent film about a bank employee who comes home a day late and doesn't remember what he did. A good story with plenty of twists and turns makes this a fairly entertaining film. However, the twists are all a bit too well-timed. Dialogue-driven and visually unimpressive, this sole directorial effort by actor Ralph Richardson isn't particularly impressive.

A decent idea for its time regarding triggers in the subconscious. The whole thing, combined with the doctor, clearly illustrates the impact of trauma. The overacting is typical of those times, a bit melodramatic. It's striking how thin Leighton is. The characters are one-dimensional, but the plot is well-conceived.
