Coincidentally seen at NPO start, what a nice snack!

Calming film with beautiful landscapes, few dialogues and a beautiful bond that blossoms between 2 lonely people.

Lotte Verbeek managed to keep my attention without any effort, nice and natural.

Nice find!

3.5*

Anne [Lotte Verbeek] decides to rigorously break with her current life and decides to travel the world in search of a new life and an identity of her own. She finds shelter with Martin [Stephen Rea] in exchange for odd jobs in and around his remote home. They agree that their relationship is purely business and that they will never ask each other personal questions, but it would be a bit boring if it stayed that way, of course. The development of the relationship between these two lonely souls is well worked out, but Antoniak's melodramatic and sometimes somewhat pretentious direction creates too much distance between viewer and main characters.

A film with few resources and a lot of originality. Positively surprised.
