Film that is divided into three sections, which together provide a clearer view of the story, but in which some scenes are shown for a second time.

A not so immediately accessible film, in which two lovers ask themselves questions about what is happening to them. Is it real? Does it just happen to them or is there more? And if it is permanent? And what would it have become if it had continued?

The viewer can enjoy these and other questions, but also the numerous beautifully shot pictures and the excellent acting of the late Anton Yelchen and a very charming Lucie Lucas.

The playful, intimate soundtrack is also appealing and of course the beautiful romance...

In Porto, the American Jake [Anton Yelchin], who lives in Portugal, and divorced mother Mati [Lucia Lucas] have a one-night stand that haunts them for a long time, even though they do not share the same feelings about it. After a short prologue, a reconstruction of the affair follows from three successive perspectives: that of Jake, that of Mati and that of an “objective” narrator. Despite a running time of less than 75 minutes, Klinger struggles to provide the meager subject with flesh and blood. Yelchin and Lucas are a good match, but the slow direction (with an excess of useless inserts and long silences) does not benefit the atmosphere. Dedicated to Anton Yelchin, who died shortly before the premiere at the age of 27 after a tragic accident.
