Disappointing comedy about a security guard in an indoor shopping center who takes his job very seriously. They are mainly short, funny scenes (and the successful moments can be counted on one hand). So it doesn't come out well. Perhaps because all the characters, except one, are rather unsympathetic.

I personally find large shopping centers in America a very nice set for comedy/action films.

The film Observe and Report makes good use of the winekel center concept.

The story is not much, but is filled with funny situations to various storylines of the other characters.

The main character is portrayed by Seth Rogen, who can come across as disturbing to very comical to some (which maybe also differs per movie he's in?)

I think I could have laughed more at the situations around the actor himself, so the situations that occur in the story and not really the word jokes or stunts of Rogen.

Still, I had a good time and I think it deserves a reasonable two stars.

2.0*
