The Vanishing American plot

The devoted Marion Warner inherits a piece of land in the desert of New Mexico. When she gets there, Marion plans to make the most of it and decides to turn the estate over to the Navajo Indian tribe initially. The Navajos now live on a very barren piece of land. Marion's decision is met with fierce resistance from the unscrupulous Morgan, the local Indian agent. Marion also meets Blandy, a charismatic, rebellious and educated Navajo Indian, who is Morgan's worst opponent. Blandy points out to Marion how the Navajos are exploited and pitted against each other by white merchants and Morgan. Marion and Blandy team up to fight Morgan.
