Six Bridges to Cross plot

"Does This Smile Hide the Secret Behind the Great $2,500,000 Boston Robbery?"

Young police officer Ed Gallagher shoots youth gang leader Jerry Florea in a car theft. However, Jerry gets the benefit of the doubt and Ed, his wife Ellen and Jerry develop a friendship. This friendship gives Ed information about criminal activities, which in turn earns him a quick promotion. Ed and Ellen hope that after his release and re-education is complete, Jerry will put his criminal past behind him. The friendship is put under enormous pressure when Jerry is released after six years and takes a job at the Brinks Bank. During his time in prison, Jerry planned a large multimillion-dollar heist at this bank.
