Undercover Maisie plot

"How would you line to be PINCHED by Maisie? (she's the cutest cop on the force!)"

A failed variety show singer and dancer, Maisie Revere decides to report herself to the Los Angeles Police Department. She does this mainly to be close to her newest flame, Police Lieutenant Paul Scott. After a grueling training period, Maisie goes undercover to infiltrate a gang of con men led by Willis Farnes. When she is discovered, Maisie is kidnapped by the gang, but she deftly manages to leave a trail of clues. With these clues, Paul could save Maisie.
