Ringside Maisie plot
"Maisie wins again in a knock-out fun show!"
Terry Dolan is a young undefeated boxer who never told his disabled mother about his career. Terry tells Maisie that he wants to quit boxing because he hates boxing and it terrifies him. Because he doesn't want to disappoint his best friend and manager Skeets Maguire, who sees Terry as the next champion, he doesn't tell him this. Maisie convinces Terry to tell Skeets anyway. Skeet's unexpected reaction causes Terry to step back into the ring anyway.
