Children of God: Lost and Found plot

The sect 'The Family' was founded in 1968 in the hippie milieu by David Berg and openly promoted sex as a recruitment tool for the faith. Thomson was born in 1974 in a commune of 'Children of God' in Brazil. After years of sexual abuse and social-psychological neglect, he left 'The Family'. In this documentary he seeks out fellow sufferers. Many of them never found their place in normal society and ended up in the drug environment and crime. But some still believe in the 'values' of 'The Family' and refuse an interview.
