Domestic Violence 2 plot

This documentary covers domestic violence court cases in Tampa, Florida. The cases are filmed as inconspicuously as possible, with only the occasional close-up of a judge, suspect or witness. Wiseman, who has already portrayed the police and a shelter in Tampa in “Domestic Violence”, starts his film with the arrest of a woman, to whom the officers patiently explain that her scratching is classified as domestic violence thanks to a new law and that there are then always get arrested. He then shows the mass arraignment of suspects in court, where an extremely serious judge hammers out the cases.
