The film after review nevertheless raised half a star. The black humor in the film is fantastic and Wim Helsen also acts well in this film. The role is therefore perfect for him and it remains to be seen whether he can handle something else, but he will fit right in here. Also surprising role for Cleiren who usually has to play other types. The film drags you along with fun humor, a varied soundtrack and exciting action. A movie with adrenaline. This is just sex, drugs and rock 'n roll!

First of all, there is the good story, which scores well in terms of originality. Another asset of this film is the fantastic cast. There are many good actors/actresses involved, which you normally don't see much in a movie. I'm thinking of Kristine Van Pellicom, Frank Focketijn, Koen van Impe,... Not that they all played a great role here, but it's just fun to see them at work in a feature film. But of course there is Wim Helsen, who really does a fantastic job and is the man who completely carries the film. The transformation from Diego to Tony is really successful, and occasionally leads to some really nice scenes (the scene with the Parkinson's patient was hilarious, for example).

Unexpected windfall!

Of course I already know Wim Helsen as a very busy carabetier. Now we can also greet him in a movie. And as an actor, he's just as good as on stage. This is also such a crazy comedy and Helsen brightens everything up with his sarcasm, humor and poetry. And what can he play? A stuntman for the heavy blockbusters who later develops amnesia and becomes a crazy guy who wants to be called Tony T. That takes us into the crazy world of Helsen, a lot of sharp humor, wrong romance and also a lot of hard typical Belgian drama where you could see that Helsen could also be dead serious. What was also so beautiful was the use of color and the editing in this film, which looked nice and modern. What has always stayed with me is for example that scene with the guy with Parkinson's, that disco scene where Tony accidentally says something very wrong to his potential love and much more. This was just a wonderful Belgian feel good movie (and sometimes not feel good) that you could enjoy. Wim Helsen is allowed to play in even more films.

4.0*
