The Governor's Wife plot

"Follow the bloodline."

A burglar shoots a man dead in his house in the middle of the night. Was it a coincidence or does the family know more about it? One night, the home of Ann Danville and her husband, Governor Tyler Danville, is broken into. The burglar shoots Tyler dead, leaving his wife in sheer panic and despair. The grieving Ann is assisted by her stepson Nathan, his nasty fiancée Heather McManus and the house staff. The brutal murder brings Nathan's sister Hayley back into the picture, a schizophrenic girl neglected in a mental institution where she resides and who had escaped the night of the murder.
