Tonight I was in the mood for a no nonsense action film. Just mind at 0 and enjoy. Enjoying was not successful at all.

I really liked parts 1 and 2, but in this part the fun I had with the two previous parts has completely disappeared. It starts with those very ugly flash cuts that I don't think are appropriate in a subsequent film from a series. There I do expect the director to have his own approach, but that he does adhere to the rules that were proposed prior to this part. And then the poor camerawork, always incorrectly positioned so that you didn't get to see half of a scene that was filmed.
The same also happened in the very poorly executed action moments, where the super hyper montage does not help at all. Everything is cut off too quickly. There is a cut every half second. It took me completely out of the film and also only points but more on the very poor directing. That chase with the Audi being chased by an equally beautiful Mercedes is cool by the way, but that was the only bright spot in the whole film.
The acting was also just crap, even Statham wasn't as good as Frank Martin. His female co-star was not doing anything but I thought it was a pleasant filling of the image.

It's been a long time since I handed out half a star, but unfortunately Transporter 3 has not managed to captivate except for the Audi chase, but more importantly it has not been able to entertain me.

0.5*

This part does not reach the level of the previous films, but it is still quite worthwhile. Fortunately, thanks to the lead role of Jason Statham. The editing is quite busy and the fights are less portrayed. It's still great to see Statham in action. The fight in the garage is a strong moment. And just in general the concept that he always has to stay close to the car with his armband is worth it. At times it looked like Crank that Statham also played in. Qualitatively slightly less than the predecessors, but enthusiasts will certainly enjoy this again.

Frank Martin [Jason Statham] is forced to do a job for Johnson [Robert Kneper] whom he had "kindly" rejected at first. He has to transport a car with a package and the Ukrainian Valentina [Natalya Rudakova] through a number of intermediate stops from Marseille to Odessa. However, the Ukrainian minister Leonid Vasilev [Jeroen Krabbé] has ordered some tough guys to stop this transport and so Frank has to try to outsmart both his clients and his pursuers. Again a meager story, this time with a romantic subplot, but the temp is in any case quite high and the action scenes can also handle it, which makes this an acceptable, but certainly not great time waster.
