Tobias Simms, the El Paso Kid, promises his patient wife Zee 'Ma' Simms over and over again that he will stop being a masked outlaw. Ma also gets increasingly angry with the El Paso Kid, because he keeps saying "just this once". Widow Weeks, however, is happy with the El Paso Kid, because she is in danger of losing her ranch and she can count on him.
