A Mexican comes out of the desert and wanders into a remote town where a ruthless gang holds sway. They hang up every new sheriff that is sent. But this Mexican is no stranger. He knows the town and he still has a score to settle with the gang leader. His name is Pecos.

Just watched this film, part of the 25 films that, under the title Westerns Unchained, have all been crammed onto just one Blu-ray disc.
The quality was appalling again, and the English dubbing cringe-worthy.
The film itself is entertaining, reasonably sadistic in places, and features Woods as a very charismatic lead. I had already seen him in another western in a supporting role, where he was visibly too good for the small part, but here he is clearly in his element.
He also reminds me a bit of George Eastman, that other Spaghetti Western hero.
A solid six, or three stars.

A fairly transparent attempt to introduce a new hero to the Italian Western. Unfortunately, the character Pecos (who indeed introduces himself multiple times in the film) is not all that interesting, even in the first film. The actor wasn't particularly remarkable either.
Remarkably, the title song has the melody of House of the Rising Sun. I personally got the impression that the budget was really low. As a result, the film had a much less lively atmosphere than other Italian films I saw this month. Not trash, but not very interesting.
