The Newcomers plot

Sam Docherty catches smug football player Rocco vandalizing a school. He faces a difficult choice: either he pretends he hasn't seen anything, or he testifies. The boy decides to follow his heart and tell the judge the truth. Rocco, however, gets off with a light sentence but takes revenge on Sam. After this incident, Sam's parents decide to move to the countryside. But the Docherty family also has a hard time as newcomers in their new residence.
