A teenage girl desperately wants to spend her summer at a prestigious rock camp. She can only attend these when she works as a cook in the kitchen. Very standard teen movie that revolves around simple music. It is nothing, but it has no further pretensions either. I had a good laugh a few times (the song "I'm too cool for you" ) and the annoyances weren't too bad! That Tess Tyler had a great part, of course.

Yes, nice movie for early teen girls. But no more. All very standard, characters you've seen so many times, etc. also quite predictable often. But I always like Demi Lovato, and again in this movie. Fortunately, the ending was just not over the top. The music isn't my thing either, so it didn't get any better for me.
