Jubal plot
"THE SOMETIMES VIOLENT STORY OF A DRIFTIN' COWHAND!"
Jubal (Ford) is a wandering cowboy who gets a job from rancher Shep (Borgnine). His wife Mae (French) sees something in Jubal, much to the chagrin of foreman Pinky (Steiger), who is also in love with her. When Jubal becomes a foreman through hard work, Pinky sets out for revenge. He convinces Shep that Jubal is making love to Mae, and Shep attacks. In self-defense, Jubal has to shoot the rancher. He then has to flee from a lynch mob.
