"Who killed edna druce?"
Actress Diana Baring faces trial for murder and found guilty. Diana is sentenced to death and waits on death row until her time comes. Sir John Menier is one of the 12 jurors at the court. He has reservations about the conviction and starts an independent investigation. To find out the true facts of the case, Sir John has the murder re-enacted with the help of two people, Ted and Dulcie Markham.
