"Showdown for a Frame-up!"
Marshal Rocky Lane reluctantly lets "outlaw" Bill Anderson escape. Lane, however, needs Anderson as bait in hopes of catching an even bigger "fish" - major mobster leader and banker Henry Mason. He preys on ranchers' land to earn a lot of money from the railway company. Mason has had railroad agent John Harper out of the way and one of his own people to take his place as an informant. Anderson knows the real Harper and is now blamed for the murder. Lane finds out that this isn't true and that Mason has something to do with it.
