Book of Blood plot
"The dead will not be silenced."
Simon McNeal, an expert in the field of paranormal affairs, finds himself with a medium in a large house, where according to many rumors it is said to be haunted. They investigate and it is not long before his medium is attacked by real ghosts and texts are carved into his flesh. Simon then soon discovers that the house is a kind of passageway for souls who travel to the afterlife.

Moderate "horror".
The only thing that really struck me positively in this film was the atmosphere that was created, a few fun and exciting scenes and 1 good atmospheric shot where you expect a scare moment and the director really fucks you 
For the rest, the plot is just stupid, the cast isn't too high a level and it's just not interesting enough to really captivate the more than one and a half hours of running time. The ending took me too long. Three times I thought the movie was over, but I was disappointed. Sometimes they want to do too much intellectual snooping in these kind of movies, I don't like that at all. B-horror movies like this just have to be simple and straight to the point. . The more nonsensical dialogue you put in such a movie with bad actors, the worse it gets. So no bullshit and fuss around it, when will filmmakers learn that?!

Dropped off after about an hour. At a certain point I really couldn't take it anymore. The story didn't captivate me, too little happens and the acting is decent. I always wonder why movies like this always have to be so dark. Is it to disguise the camera crew's ignorance? There is also a lack of creativity in this area. A boring film to watch in every way.
