Tyke Elephant Outlaw plot

This documentary tells the story of Tyke, a circus elephant who attacked and killed her trainer in Honolulu in 1994 in front of thousands of spectators. The beast then caused panic and died under a hail of bullets. The city was traumatized by the incident, which sparked a worldwide backlash against the use of animals for entertainment. The film takes a look at what caused the elephant to break out and features interviews with people who knew her and were affected by her death: trainers, circus industry insiders and witnesses to the facts.
