Annie Laurie plot

The story is about two feuding Scottish clans, the MacDonald's and the Camerons. Annie Laurie tries to peacefully reunite the two clans in her home of Maxwelton, but sparks excitement and hatred because both Ian MacDonald and Donald Cameron are in love with her. She puts her fate in the hands of Ian when the vengeful Donald uses illicit means to take out his enemies.
