Hero Wanted plot
Garbage man Liam Case (Cuba Gooding Jr.) is left for dead along with a bank employee after a botched bank robbery. When he wakes up in the hospital, he only wants one thing: revenge. During his recovery period, however, he finds out that he not only wants revenge on the bank robbers, but that they are after him.

I expected a bit more for a 2008 film. Also many well-known names in the cast, but unfortunately they couldn't take it to a higher level.
A bit dull and far-fetched story. To want to be flattered in this way by a female who works at the bank. The flashback didn't work very smoothly either. The shooting scene at the end can still be called ok, but it is and remains a B-movie on all fronts.

Cuba Gooding Jr as we know him: very good acting, really lives in his role. In stark contrast, on the other hand, is Ray Liotta. His acting was less appealing to me here. Compared to eg Goodfellas and Control... Anyway, the action is there and the "garbage man" does everything to get revenge and does it very well. Effects are nice, camera work is ok so 4 stars.
