Attacking the Devil: Harold Evans and the Last Nazi War Crime plot

Harold Evans is an editor of The Sunday Times. For more than a decade, he has waged an ongoing battle to uncover the truth about the dangerous drug Thalidomide and obtain compensation for victims. Thalidomide was originally developed by the Germans in World War II to counteract the effect of the nerve agent sarin. After the war, the medicine was prescribed as a remedy for pregnancy vomiting, as a sleeping aid or as a remedy for morning sickness. As a result, tens of thousands of children were born with serious defects.
