In itself this is a nice film to watch but it all remains quite lukewarm and on the plain. Especially in the beginning I didn't see any chemistry between the two protagonists. I have to say I really liked Patrick Dempsey but WHAT did they do with his hair!?! It didn't look like ha ha.
The story is of course quite predictable, but with rom-coms like this I don't mind at all. The chemistry and the romantic story are the most important to me but that still remains a bit weak in the beginning.
Later in the story when the entire family and group of friends is in Scotland to attend her wedding with that shot the story gets off to a much better start. Especially during the kiss in the pub (during her bachelorette party) , there is finally some chemistry involved. And the ending when he decides to go for her and disrupt the wedding is also rendered very romantic.
All this surrounded by a Scottish atmosphere makes this a fun movie to watch. It's certainly not one of the best rom-coms, but it's fun.

Watched this romantic movie and it wasn't wrong but oh so predictable. The movie looked good and the movie still had beautiful songs.
The cast was not bad and the story, well, quite a lot of clichés.
Great viewing food if you don't want to think too much and still want to laugh every now and then.

Reasonable rom-com that certainly has its nice moments. Dempsey and Monaghan are on a roll, and when Tom has to be the maid of honor for his best friend Hannah, Made of Honor is at its best. Of course he finds out that Hannah is actually the love of his life, and of course Hannah eventually comes to the same conclusion. Made of Honor could have used a little more humor and certainly some nice supporting roles. Because in the end the film colors a little too carefully within the rom-com lines.
