Rise of the Dead plot

In the small sleepy town of Dudley, Ohio, a horrific future lurks for some. Laura is nearly raped by a lawyer who seems to have gone mad. When her boyfriend Jack saves her by running over him with her car, the police don't believe the story. Things get complicated when Laura's roommate is murdered and the local police ask Jack and Laura questions they can't answer. Jack is arrested while Laura discovers that the murder is related to recent events. When Laura's mother attacks her, Laura takes the initiative from the police and must expose the terrible truth. The powers released from Laura's past may be too much for her.
