The Golden Boys plot
Cape Cod, around the turn of the century. Three retired sea captains living together decide that the only way to get their household in order is for one of them to get married. They draw lots and place an ad in the newspaper. A beautiful lady responds and Jerry, the captain who has been drawn, immediately becomes nervous. The other two must do everything they can to keep the lady in the small town and give Captain Jerry enough confidence.
