"What you can't see can hurt you."
Grace, her friends Jim and Adam and her younger sister Lee decide to take a river trip across Northern Australia during their vacation. When the travelers sail through a swamp, their boat suddenly capsizes and it turns out that Jim has disappeared without a trace. Realizing that they had just been attacked by a crocodile, Adam drags Grace away from the scene of the accident to the safety of a tree. But Lee still clings to the capsized boat. Adam and Grace do everything they can to get Lee and the boat to land, but the boat is stuck. Stranded in the middle of a half-flooded swamp, the three travelers must find a way to survive their adventurous trip.

At times it seemed like a TV movie shot , but if you put that aside it is a very strong film .
Exciting . And my full attention stayed with it . The threat was quite exciting. In the beginning it was barred that this story is based on true events, but in the end you don't see how or what, that was a shame.
I like this better as lake placid , because it all came across very realistic .
Surprise for me because this movie has been off my radar for more than 12 years….saw it by chance here on the site.
I must say that the description thriller is not quite right here, it is allowed to say thriller / horror, absolutely.
3.5 recommended!
