Incendiary plot
"One moment can change a life forever."
A father and his son attend a football game together. However, disaster strikes: during the match a bomb explodes and both are killed instantly. The mother is left defeated, or so it seems. The woman (Michelle Williams) also has an affair with a journalist (Ewan McGregor) during that period. Will she now get through the period strengthened with another lover by her side or does this only make the tragedy worse?

A lousy screenplay with sometimes ridiculous dialogues make this an unbelievable film, which wants to be too many things at once: drama, thriller, romance, etc. Michelle Williams does her best, but can't let the film rise above average on her own. It's a shame that such an interesting piece of information is so clumsy wasted.

If you want to summarize the film in one word, you will not succeed. It tries to be everything and do everything, but in the end it is just nothing. Because of this, you never get into the story, let alone get dragged into the tragedy. The function of McGregor's character is still a mystery to me.

Beautiful and emotional drama film (not a thriller) with a heavy subject. Leaving aside all the details that might have been better, it is mainly about feelings and emotions. The young woman is consumed with guilt after losing her family. She teeters on the brink of going crazy and thinks about suicide. During her recovery, Terrence pressures her to become her new partner. But what I like so much is that Jasper waits and gives her the time to be emotionally ready for this. He supports her without being intrusive and searches for the facts of the attack. The film ends in a big way: at the same time that several lives were lost, a new life was created..... a still young life has left the earth and a new life is born!
