"A RIOT OF A COMEDY"
When navy man Albert Tufnell hooks up beautiful blonde Shirley, he's the happiest man in the world. Until he meets his soon-to-be mother-in-law Emma, a bossy, always screaming woman who cannot be satisfied. This makes Albert doubt whether he wants to marry Shirley. When he finds out just before the ceremony that Emma has paid a deposit for a house three houses away, he leaves Shirley at the altar.
