Hedy Lamarr: Secrets of a Hollywood Star plot

Documentary about the life of the Austrian Hedwig 'Hedy' Kiesler. She became world famous by being the first woman to appear naked on the silver screen in the film Ekstase (1933). In 1937 she moved to Hollywood under a new showbiz name: Hedy Lamarr. Under the contract of the MGM studios, who labeled her the most beautiful woman of the century, she appeared in about 25 major productions. Lamarr was the glamor queen of Hollywood. But what many don't know is that Lamarr also had a secret career, that of an inventor. Her greatest invention is the defense system of torpedoes, which was already used by the Allies in World War II. An invention that is the founder of modern tools that are indispensable in our lives, such as the mobile phone and GPS.
