Alex is a 15-year-old teenager who is a hermaphrodite. After her birth, her parents left Buenos Aires for a quiet environment on the border with Uruguay. The choice for Alex to definitively choose her gender now seems inevitable. One evening, Alex's parents receive old friends from the big city; the man is a leading plastic surgeon. Soon the couple's son, Alvaro, and Alex are attracted to each other.
