Journey of a Red Fridge plot

Hari Rai is a seventeen-year-old boy from a small village in the Himalayas. He works as a porter to pay for his business studies at the University of Pokhara and to earn his living. For this particular trip, which lasts 4 days, he is hired to carry a huge red Coca Cola refrigerator to a nearby town. From panoramas dominated by 8,000-meter peaks to hot springs by a river; from sacred Buddhist temple complexes to thatched villages, everywhere we see the contrast between the bright red branded refrigerator and the breathtaking virgin vistas of Nepal.
