John and Laura are a young working couple desperate for a baby. After trying every option, they finally hire Anna, the perfect woman to be their surrogate mother. But as the pregnancy progresses, she begins to develop a psychotic and dangerous fixation on her husband. The couple gets caught up in Anna's deadly game and must fight for their future before it's too late.

A typical film that will be available to watch within a few years on TV channels such as Vitaya and Vijf 
, but it does have an A label compared to most films that are presented to the viewer on these channels. The film deserves a positive view because the acting is certainly decent and there is sufficient tension in the story despite the many clichés that pass by. The fact that it is all a bit predictable also has to do with, as already indicated here, certain films from the 90s where this film made its mark. Nothing new, but the film is easy to watch and enjoyable for an evening of movie fun. The horror genre is completely inappropriate, the film is simply a thriller. 6.5/10

My expectations were a bit higher due to a number of reviews here, but the film did not turn out well. The story is simple, not original, and in fact the real tension never quite came together. On the other hand, the cast was strong, camera work and music in order, actually a fairly solid whole. Benefit of the doubt for now. *3.0

Not a very exciting television thriller that barely has anything to do with the stated horror genre. Only in the last fifteen minutes does things become a bit more threatening, everything before that points to a dull event. The acting in particular is far below par, only Morris Chestnut manages to hold his own in a more prominent character. Jaz Sinclair in particular fills her character in a ridiculous way and has no form of charisma, unfortunately the sensation has to come from her. Director Jon Cassar babbles along without hitting a chord or creating any form of danger, with no atmosphere whatsoever. I will give it an extra half for Chestnut, but otherwise it is an excruciatingly boring film that also lasts far too long.
