A Danish couple is on vacation in Italy and stays in the villa of an eccentric American woman. However, the house hides a terrible secret: the woman has murdered her husband and wants to put the blame on the two unsuspecting tourists.

Now those were the days when you could earn back your Italian vacation by bringing home a big pile of porn. Porn on...we'll sell photos of Ornella Muti!
But our spreaders of free love get into trouble with the Italian police and seek shelter in the house of Irene Papas...not very smart because she has just murdered her hubby and you can blame such a nice hippie couple.
Who exactly is holding whom hostage? That is the strongest theme in this film by director Lenzi, who had success in the eighties with cannibal films.
Here with a lot of nudity/nakedness probably with body doubles. Muti was still a minor and Papa's naked body looks surprisingly young.....best in the beginning and towards the end the thrills subside a little.
Restored English dubbed version on Shameless...oddly enough, one of the most beautiful scenes (the aviary) only has an Italian version.
