The film starts off really fantastic with 10/15 minutes of crazy action and one crazy character after another.

Then comes the very long middle section. Melvin or Toxie still manages to provide reasonable entertainment, but all in all it just takes too long until he takes on that devilish (in this case literally ) toxic company again.

After that there is still enough action to provide good entertainment. If the film had been a bit shorter the score would probably have been a bit higher.

After its boring predecessor it is a relief to see a reasonably entertaining Toxic Avenger again. It all works towards a grand finale with idiotic body morphing and reasonable special effects. It also seems as if they have mastered the art of filmmaking a little more.

Slightly less tiring than the previous part, especially because director duo Michael Herz and Lloyd Kaufman keep the story a bit more focused on the satire, although still with particularly lame humor. The acting is really so miserably bad that it is indescribable, since these cast members are close to the level where they can barely get their dialogues out. Only Phoebe Legere seems somewhat aware of the absolute nonsense she has ended up in the middle of, the rest don't even seem to make an effort. Fortunately, there is some entertaining practical effects and stunts. The entire finale (which lasts 30 minutes by the way) is quite enjoyable to watch and that makes the running time a bit more manageable. However, it still remains top-notch crap, but considerably more self-consciously filled in.
