Rails into Laramie plot

Jefferson Harder is tasked with bringing peace to the town of Laramie and wants to round up a gang of thugs there. Everyone knows that the group of outlaws, led by Jim Shanessy, is responsible for preventing the construction of a railroad right through Laramie. However, Shanessy manages to intimidate the jurors in court so that he is released. He and the saloon keeper Lou Carter don't want a railroad through Laramie because they both want to continue their criminal activities. One day, however, Lou turns on Shanessey and the situation spirals out of control.
