Shlomi, 16, lives with his restless mother, his soldier brother, and his ailing grandfather. Although he does not do very well at school, Shlomi does have a great cooking talent and also cooks at home. When the director of his current school finds out, he wants to send Shlomi to a cooking school, but Shlomi prefers to stay to take care of his family and his great love, his girl next door.
