Underbara Älskade plot
Lasse (Michael Nyqvist) is driving along a country road with his family when he suddenly has to give way to a young deer. The car crashes into a tree, and his wife and youngest son are killed instantly. Nine months later, Lasse still has not been able to cope with this, and attempts suicide. After being released from the hospital, he decides to spend a few weeks with his eldest son, Jonas (Anastasios Soulis), in their holiday home in Gothenburg.

Good film about father and son who have to continue without the other half of the family after a fatal car accident. Not exactly an original story, but a solid and modest film about grieving in which the son and father receive equal attention (which provides a nice change within the film). A leisurely pace, good acting and beautiful surroundings.

Have seen many films about dealing with grief following the loss of a loved one.
However, this "Underbara Alskade" gave me a very uneasy feeling, because of the father's attitude.
"You are a coward", the son says to his father, and he is right too. Especially the attempted suicide, where he should have realized that he was leaving his son to his fate, but also because of his irresponsible, misplaced attitude towards others and weak behavior...
So this feeling predominated in my experience of the film and other emotions did not get their due.
