House of Afflictions plot
Kate Beckley was once the best-selling English crime novelist. It's only been years since she last wrote. She and her husband John experienced a tragedy: their daughter Julia disappeared without a trace. Kate wants to start writing again and since she is too distracted at home, she decides to rent a house temporarily to work in. Shortly after her arrival, however, she begins to see paranormal things. Is it her daughter's ghost or is the house harboring darker things?
